Important Notice:
New Brunswick's reduced child-care fee program is available only at designated facilities, where the government funds operators to lower parent fees. Designated spaces in the Saint John area are currently full, and the province is not allocating new ones at this time. Like many quality centres, our Saint John location is a licensed, non-designated centre — we set our own fees, which reflect the true cost of exceptional care. Financial assistance is available to eligible families through the province's Childcare Assistance Program, and we offer what families need most right now: high-quality spaces available without a multi-year waitlist.
Optional Supplemental Services
Childcare providers may offer additional optional services beyond the core program costs, such as transportation, field trips, or meal plans, for an extra fee. Participation in these services is entirely optional, and clear guidelines will ensure equitable access for all families.
Childcare Assistance Program (CAP)
New Brunswick's CAP helps low- and middle-income families with the cost of care at licensed non-designated centres, for children from infancy through age 5. You may be eligible if a parent or guardian is working, studying, in training, in medical treatment, or holds a referral, and your household income falls within the province's limits — support is greatest at lower incomes and decreases as income rises. The subsidy is paid directly to us, and you pay only the difference between our fee and the approved amount.
How to apply:
- Create or sign in to your Parent Portal account with the Province of New Brunswick.
- Complete the single Childcare Financial Assistance application — you can apply up to 60 days before your child's start date.
- Use the same email you give us, so your benefit applies smoothly to your account.
We're glad to walk you through it — just ask.
Eligibility and subsidy amounts are determined by the Province of New Brunswick.
