Our Before & After School Care program incorporates mindful thinking, self-awareness, the freedom to explore and loads of outdoor play. Each week the children engage in activities such as sports, individual or group art projects, and outdoor exploration.

Bridgeland in Calgary, Alberta
Just northeast of downtown is the vibrant neighbourhood of Bridgeland. Our centre is nestled within this small walkable community chock full of shops, local art and community businesses. Our centre features its own indoor gym and outdoor play area, and is surrounded by accessible green spaces.
Riverside Bungalow in Calgary, Alberta
Our second location in Calgary’s Bridgeland community, Riverside Bungalow is situated off of Edmonton Trail with access to community parks and the nearby business district. This historic building is now home to our before and after school care programs, featuring plenty of green spaces and parks within the community, and refreshed classrooms.

We offer flexible pricing with short-week and full-week options.
Important Notice:
Starting April 1, 2025, the Government of Alberta is implementing a standardized childcare fee of $15 per day for full-time licensed early learning and care programs for children up to kindergarten age. Families with children enrolled in full-time licensed daycare facilities and family day home programs will pay a flat fee of $326.25 per month, equating to approximately $15 per day.
Optional Supplemental Services
Childcare providers may offer additional optional services beyond the core program costs, such as transportation, field trips, or meal plans, for an extra fee. Participation in these services is entirely optional, and clear guidelines will ensure equitable access for all families.
Increased Subsidy for Eligible Families
Effective for July & August 2026, the Government of Alberta has increased the subsidy rate for children enrolled in full-time, licensed Grades 1-6 facility-based programs. Eligible families can now qualify for up to $644 subsidy per month for their children’s Before & After School Care tuition. Please note, the subsidy rates will return to normal for September 2026.
Eligibility for subsidy through the province’s Child Care Subsidy Program is based on family gross income. Families must apply for the subsidy directly, and if approved this is applied directly to their tuition fees. Choose Bungalow BAS Grade 1-5 | 4 Day if you:
- Need accommodations for your child in Grade 1 to 5.
- Require before and after school care 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday).
- Want flexibility in your childcare routine due to a changing work schedule.
Key features:
- Care offered Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
- Before school care with child drop off from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
- After school care with child pick up 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Outdoor space to explore and play
- Activities such as sports and individual or group art projects
- Transportation and field trips for an additional fee.
Choose Bungalow BAS Grade 1-5 | 5 Day if you:
- Need accommodations for your child in Grade 1 to 5.
- Require full-time before and after school care, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday).
- Want a consistent childcare routine to fit within your set schedule.
Key features:
- Care offered Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
- Before school care with child drop off from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
- After school care with child pick up 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Outdoor space to explore and play
